Len Blavatnik holds a Masters degree from Columbia University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is the Founder, Chairman and President of Access Industries, a privately held, U.S.-based industrial group with long term strategic interests worldwide.
Mr. Blavatnik serves as a director of numerous companies in the Access portfolio of investments including Basell Holdings B.V. (the world leader in polyolefins production and technology), UC RUSAL (the largest vertically integrated aluminum producer in the world).
Mr. Blavatnik remains committed to educational pursuits. In addition to corporate directorships he sits on academic boards at Cambridge University, Harvard Business School and Tel Aviv University. He is also Vice Chairman of The Kennan Council at the Woodrow Wilson Center in Washington, D.C.
An active philanthropist, Mr. Blavatnik is also on the Board of Directors of the 92nd Street Y, The White Nights Foundation of America and The Center for Jewish History in New York.
