Maxim Barskiy

Deputy Chairman of the Management Board

Maxim Barskiy is a graduate of the Leningrad State University and University of California, Berkeley.

In the late 1990s, he held a series of trading and investment banking positions at Troika Dialog investment company. In 2000 — 2004, Maxim Barskiy performed the duties of Corporate Development Director at Cityline, Managing Director at the Salford Continental Inc. investment fund, and Senior Investment Director at Finartis.

In March 2004, Maxim Barskiy joined oil company West Siberian Resources Ltd. as a Member of the Board of Directors. He was appointed Managing Director of the company four months later. Maxim Barskiy stayed in this position until October 2008. Over that period, capitalization of West Siberian Resources Ltd. increased to $3 bn from $60 mln.

Until the end of 2008, he worked as General Director for WSR Invest.

In 2009, he became Investment Director at the representative office of Alltech Investments Limited in Russia.

In May - December 2009, Maxim Barskiy performed the duties of Executive Vice President, Strategy and New Business Development of TNK-BP.
