Sergey Brezitsky

Executive Vice-President, Upstream

Sergey Brezitsky has a degree in oil and gas production technology from the Ivano-Frankovsk Oil and Gas Institute. 

He started his career in the oil and gas industry in 1984. Sergey Brezitsky joined TNK in 1999, where he worked in a number of senior positions, including Head of Upstream from July 1999 till June 2000. After TNK-BP was established in 2003, he was appointed to head TNK’s key production Business Unit, Samotlor. In January 2005, he was appointed Executive Vice-President, Oilfield Services.

Mr. Brezitsky holds several government awards, including “Honorary Oilman of the Tyumen Region,” “FEC Employee of Merit,” “Subsoil Exploration Expert” and “Honorary Oilman” by the Energy Ministry.”
