Bill Schrader began his career at BP as a chemical engineer in 1980 after receiving a B.Sc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. Also Mr. Schrader earned his MBA degree at the University of Houston in 1984.
Bill Schrader has held a series of technical and marketing positions at BP petrochemical business in US and UK. In 1991 he became a Production Manager at BP Ferndale Refinery (USA).
In 1993 Mr. Schrader moved to UK to manage the Great Forties field in the North Sea. From 1999 to 2004 he was responsible for BP’s business development in Asia-Pacific region.
In 2004 Bill Schrader was appointed Chief Executive Officer of BP Angola. Two years later he became President of BP Azerbaijan.
