At the conference, achievements and results of the last year as well as plans and tasks for 2006 were voiced. Strategic issues, plans regarding sales, reorganization of the distribution network, motivation system, market analysis, lubes promotion program, advertising support, etc. were also discussed.

Press conference dedicated to development of tourism in the Tyumen Region and publication of the Le Petit Fute Guidebook of the Tyumen Region will take place on February 16 at 11:00. Tyumen Region’s Deputy Governor Sergey Degtyar, TNK-BP Vice President Vladimir Ruga and General Director of the Avant-Garde publishing house Pierre Christian Brochet will participate in the press conference.

VI Boxing World Cup among oil-producing countries for TNK-BP prizes will be held in Nizhnevartovsk between November 30 and December 5. The first competitions of this tournament were held in 2000 in the framework of the TNK youth project “Generation 2000.” From 2003, the Nizhnevartovsk Boxing World Cup was included into the official calendar of competitions of the World Amateur Boxing Association. TNK-BP and the Government of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area are the founders of the tournament. 21 countries submitted their applications for participation in the Nizhnevartovsk competitions (Russia, USA, Canada, Venezuela, RSA, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Sweden, Germany, France, Great Britain, China, Cuba, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Greece, Norway, Bulgaria, and Poland).

The Izhevsk Research and Development Center will represent TNK-BP Udmurtia on the exhibition.

The presentation of the “Pilot Industrial Development of the Verkhnechonsk Oil and Gas Condensate Field” project and declaration of intentions was held on September 15 in the Irkutsk Region Administration. At the presentation, Duncan Smart, Manager of the East Siberia–Oil Division, TNK-BP Management, explained the role of the Company in the exploration and development of the energy resources of East Siberia. Maksim Bezryadin, General Director of Verkhnechonskneftegaz, talked about the pilot industrial development of the Verkhnechonsk oil and gas condensate field.
