TNK-BP sold 442,000 tons of petroleum products via exchange trading in July-September, which is 66% more than in 2Q 2010.

OJSC TNK-BP Holding Board of Directors has resolved to convene an extraordinary general shareholders’ meeting, to be held in the form of absentee vote, on November 18, 2010. The extraordinary general shareholders’ meeting will consider payment (declaration) of dividends for 9 months of 2010. The record date is October 12, 2010.

TNK-BP announces that it has entered into a long-term contract with state corporation PetroVietnam, to supply of Russian ESPO crude. The one-year contract calls for delivery volumes to be agreed on a monthly basis.

TNK-BP announces that all of its Russian retail assets have been consolidated within the TNK-BP Holding group of companies.

TNK-BP announces that today, as part of its long-term cooperation with Vietnamese state corporation PetroVietnam, it has signed the contract to supply Russian ESPO crude oil blend to Vietnam. This is the first time ESPO crude oil blend will be delivered to Vietnam. The first 100,000 ton shipment under the new contract will take place in November 2010.

In July 2010, the Samotlor gas gathering project was endorsed by Sberbank’s Expert Council, which gave it the highest score among the 35 projects competing for the right to sell Emission Reduction Units under the Kyoto protocol. In April 2010, a mandatory independent expert review (verification) of the reduction in greenhouse gas emissions was completed by Bureau Veritas Certification.

TNK-BP today reported its results for the six months ended June 30th 2010 (US$ millions unless otherwise stated).

To improve the system of relationships with contractors and make the activities of the company more transparent, the management of TNK-BP decided to create a Council for interaction with suppliers and contractors. TNK-BP is one of the major players on the Russian market of goods and services with an annual contracting budget of approximately 180 billion rubles.

The Annual General Shareholders Meeting of OJSC TNK-BP Holding today approved the Annual Report and annual financial statements for 2009. The shareholders elected a new Board of Directors of OJSC TNK-BP Holding. The Board consists of nine persons, including four representatives of each of TNK-BP Ltd.

TNK-BP announced that the General Director of OJSC RUSIA Petroleum, of which TNK-BP is the major shareholder, presented a petition to the Arbitration Court of Irkutsk region to initiate bankruptcy proceedings of RUSIA Petroleum. These actions followed the submittal by TNK-BP, on May 14 2010, of an early repayment notice for a part of the loans issued to RUSIA Petroleum to finance development of the Kovykta gas condensate field.
