In December 2010, OJSC TNK-BP Holding shares were admitted to trading at the Russian stock exchanges, the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange (MICEX) and RTS Stock Exchange (RTS).

Admission to trading implies that the Company common and preference shares circulate on the regulated securities market. In the past, TNK-BP Holding only had indicative quotations on the RTS Board (OTC market). Free trading in Company stocks helped improve their liquidity and grow trading volumes, making them accessible to a wider target investor community. This is in the interests of all TNK-BP Holding shareholders, especially minority holders. At present, OJSC TNK-BP Holding free float is approximately 5.3%.

Securities trading at RTS and MICEX commenced on December 6, 2010. In January 2011, OJSC TNK-BP Holding stocks were admitted to the MICEX Oil and Gas Industry Index and MICEX Large Cap Index, and in March, to the RTS Index and RTS Oil and Gas Industry Index.
