Karelianefteprodukt

Kareliyanefteprodukt was founded in 1998. Across the Republic of Karelia, the company operates five oil depots and 22 retail sites (including three retail sites with cafes and 15 retail sites with minimarkets). The company holds an estimated 35% of the regional oil products market including 34­?38% in the retail segment. In 2008, its retail sales amounted to 64,900 tons, with additional 66,100 tons in small wholesales.

In 2003, the company completed its largest oil depot in Petrozavodsk accounting for 45% of the sales. In the same year, Kareliyanefteprodukt launched its own quality control laboratory for oil products, the only laboratory of this kind in Karelia which is officially accredited by Russia’s Gosstandart standardization agency.

In 2008, six retail sites in Karelia’s north were overhauled in compliance with the new TNK offer. At the beginning of 2009, the new TNK offer was available at ten retail outlets (including four in Petrozavodsk). 

The company employs 440 people and is headed by Ms. Yuliya V. Khrenova, Karelyanefteprodukt General Director.
