TNK-BP Northern Capital

TNK-BP Northern Capital is a marketing subsidiary of TNK-BP which operates 20 retail sites in St. Petersburg, including five BP-branded multi-functional service stations

The entity was established in July 2005. The first retail site was launched on November 10, 2007.

TNK-BP Northern Capital primarily engages in retail site network construction and operation, retail and wholesale marketing of fuels and lubricants, consumer product sales, café services.

Fuel supplies are by rail, primarily from the Ryazan Oil Refining Company (motor gasolines) and from Slavneft’s Yaroslavnefteorgsintez (diesel fuel).

In 2008, fuel sales amounted to 325.7 thousand tons, including 24.11 thousand tons of retail sales. Gasoline sales were ca. 135 thousand tons, (ca. 20 thousand tons sold in retail); diesel sales, ca. 190 thousand tons (retail sales of 4.13 thousand tons).
