Vanyoganneft

Vanyoganneft develops Van-Yoganskoe and Ai-Yoganskoye oilfields in Khanty-Mansiisky autonomous region. A license was obtained in 2007 for geological exploration for the purpose of searching and assessing hydrocarbon fields within the boundaries of East-Chernogorskiy area.

Vanyoganneft was established on July 1st, 1992. In 2003—2007 share of TNK-BP in Vanyoganneft was 50%. In early 2007 TNK-BP bought from Occidental Petroleum (USA) remaining 50%. At present time Vanyoganneft is fully integrated in TNK-BP group.

Van-Yoganskoe Oil and Gas Condensate Field contains 63 accumulations of oil, gas and condensate occurring at depths ranging from 900 to 3,000 m, of which 18 oil accumulations in Pokurian sediments contain high viscosity oil.

The commercial oil content of Ai-Yoganskoe Oil and Gas Condensate Field is concentrated in Upper Jurassic sediments of Vasyuganian suite and Lower Cretaceous sediments in Megionian suite with depths of reservoir occurrence ranging from 2,300 to 2,700 m.

The volumes of production from Van-Yoganskoe and Ai-Yoganskoe Fields have amounted to 1.973 mmt of oil and 0.9 bcm of gas in 2008.

The General Director is Sergey Vlsdimirovich Karavaev.
