THK-BP became a leading partner in the charity event  Give Children Joy, which took place at the end of March at the Bolshoi Moscow Circus on Prospect Vernadksogo. It was organized by the Russian Managers’ Association for orphans from children’s homes and shelters and children undergoing medical rehabilitation.

European prizes were awarded for the first time on March 31, 2008 in Moscow for remarkable contributions to strengthening cultural, scientific and business relations between Russia and Europe. TNK-BP was awarded the Moscow European prize in the “Business” nomination.

TNK-BP today released the results of the independent audit of its reserves as at the end of 2007. This represents the fifth annual external audit of the company’s reserves since its creation in August 2003.

TNK-BP is a commercial organization engaged in normal and legitimate commercial activities.

TNK-BP President Robert Dudley says he is confident that Russia will continue along its path towards success following the handover of presidential power to President Elect Dmitriy Medvedev. The statement was made in an interview to Petroleum Intelligence Weekly, an international oil industry analytical publication.
