RUSIA Petroleum Shareholders'' Meeting to Take Place on June 4
The Annual Shareholders'' Meeting of RUSIA Petroleum OJSC is scheduled for June 4, Mr. Sergey Tulinov, member of the company''s Board of Directors and TNK-BP''s project manager, informed reporters on April 7. In his words, the meeting will consider, besides conventional matters related to reports and elections, that of additional share issue. The company''s Board of Directors will approve of parameters of the additional issue at one of its nearest meetings, Mr. Tulinov said. RUSIA Petroleum OJSC is a mineral user of the Kovykta gas and condensate deposit with proven reserves in the C1+C2 categories equal to 2 trillion cm. Investments into the regional deposit development project are estimated at US$ 676 million during 2004/2034, including US$ 480.4 million in 2004/2006. Major shareholders of RUSIA Petroleum OJSC are BP (33.86%), TNK (29.03%), Interros, a holding company (25.82%), the Irkutsk Region Governmental Property Management Committee (10.78%).
