New Profit Tax Calculation Method Leads to Net Loss Reduction in a Number of TNK-BP''s Subsidiaries in 4Q

The new profit tax calculation lead to net loss reduction for a number of TNK-BP''s subsidiaries in 4Q, according to TNK-BP''s official release. In particular, based on 4Q results, net losses of Samotlorneft OJSC dropped by 77.7%, to RUR 1.798 million, on 3Q. At RUR 8.936 million, net losses of Nizhnevartovsk OJSC dropped by 42%. Net losses fell by 13.1% (to RUR 2.485 million) and by 2.4 times (to RUR 8.237 million) for Priobneft OJSC and Belozerneft OJSC, respectively.
