The interview with Ms. L.V. Berlina, chief geologist of NGDP Udmurtneft Sever. Touching upon the subject of crude output growth, Ms. L.V. Berlina noted that 2003 became a landmark year for Udmurtneft OJSC – it is for the first time during the last 20 years that production grew by 9% on 2002. The share of extraction yielded due to geological and technical measures reached 16%, whereas it amounted to 7%-8%. These results, Ms. L.V. Berlina notes, were achieved due to correct and well-coordinated performance of the entire geological service.
