A trade-union conference of the enterprise''s team is held at TNK-Nizhnevartovsk OJSC each year, in March. Oil workers of the enterprise lifted 7,888,000 tons of oil last year. A record boost of oil extraction, by 116%, was achieved as compared with 2002. In 2004, hydrocarbon output is expected to climb by 115%. The structure of TNK-NV OJSC''s social budget is reflecting terms and conditions of funding of various programs. The most significant dimension is the housing program and the long-term lending to employees. 21 apartments were purchased for employees last year; the plan is to improve housing conditions to the same number of employees this year. A new Chairman of the Trade Union Committee of TNK-NV OJSC was elected at the end of the conference. Interests of employees will be defended by Mr. Alexander Zatvornitsky, Head of UDNG-3.
