TNK-BP intends to be involved in implementing social programs in all regions where it is present as fully as possible, as was announced during the Nizhnevartovsk Management Board field meeting held in Nizhnevartovsk. Members of the Management Board spent the first day of the meeting in oil fields. On the following day, each of the visits was discussed at the Management Board meeting. The top management noted high technical level of production facilities, in particular, Samotlorneftegaz. The enterprise constantly upgrades production facilities and invests funds into scientific and technical potential development, Mr. Alexander Zhagrin, General Manager of SNG OJSC pointed out. Additionally, the Management Board field meeting considered relations with the Technology Block that comprise competent professionals from BP. They act at experts and should find ways to enhance production facilities. Occupational safety and environment protection have become the focus of the meeting and the subject of detailed discussion. Eliminating any risk of accident-triggering situations is the principal objective for all employees of TNK-BP.
