The TNK-BP Ukraine Starts Full Scale Operations

The company TNK-BP Ukraine LLC has started operations on a full scale, press service of TNK-Ukraine Trading House LLC reported 29 June. The decision to launch a company to become the centre of TNK-BP corporate governance in Ukraine and coordinate the activities in the territory was made in connection with high business growth rate of TNK-BP in Ukraine. The TNK-BP corporate centre will control the businesses of the group, among which are: distribution network - 50 percent of stock of RUR Group S.A. CJSC. /Kirovograd, 17 petrol stations/, 100 percent of corporate share in Oniks-neft LLC /Kirovograd, 1 petrol station/, 51 percent of the stock of SpetsStroyMontazh CJSC /Kharkov, 10 petrol stations/, 100 percent share in the Kersher LLC joint venture /Kiev, 6 petrol stations/, 86.5 percent in Lisichansknefteprodukt OJSC /Lisichansk, 6 petrol stations/; production capacity - LINIK CJSC /93.8 percent/; investment companies - TNK-Ukraine Invest CJSC /100 percent/, TNK-Ukraine FIE [Foreign Investment Enterprise] /100 percent/; other assets, including Lisichansknefteorgsintez OJSC /78.5 percent/ and other businesses. The TNK-BP Ukraine will be responsible for the development of common strategies and standards for all businesses in the group, supervise their implementation, monitor use of its assets in the territory of Ukraine. The TNK-BP Ukraine will also assume the functions of developing marketing, innovation, investment, personnel policy, providing security for business activities of the TNK-BP group companies in Ukraine, representing the interests of the holding with state authorities, interfacing with key business partners and mass media. By a decision of a meeting of founders of TNK-BP Ukraine LLC, Alexander Gorodetsky was appointed president of the company. Dmitry Mordovenko was appointed director for strategic planning and development; Sergei Dorozhkin, vice president for interfacing with state authorities; Mikhail Bulkat, vice president and director for security; Julia Semenko, vice president and director for PR; Vadim Dvoinos, director for corporate governance; Alexander Zhilenko, director for internal auditing. All in all, there are 28 persons on the staff of TNK-BP Ukraine LLC. Sergei Lisunov has become General Director of Trading House TNK-Ukraine LLC, who was formerly first vice president and executive director of the company. He will guide the operations of the trading house for procurement of oil, its processing and distribution of finished products. TH TNK-Ukraine LLC is a distribution business supplying petroleum products produced by LINOS LLC to bulk buyers, including Ukraine''s largest network of jobber filling stations. To date, the trading house serves, under jobber /sublicense/ agreements, 1070 fuel filling stations in all regions of Ukraine. TH TNK-Ukraine LLC has no in-house retail stations or refinery capacity. TH TNK-Ukraine LLC and LINOS LLC are not members of the TNK-BP group of companies. LINOS LLC /Lisichansk, Lugansk region/ is an operator /under a lease contract made/ of refinery capacity owned by LINIK CJSC. LINIK CJSC is a member of the TNK-BP international holding group of companies. LINOS LLC has no in-house refinery capacity in its ownership.
