The television company informs that Rodnikovy Krai, TNK-BP''s charitable foundation, has won the Izhevsk municipal contest of Benefactor of the Year: 2003 in the Social Partner category. Izhevsk Mayor V. Balakin awarded patrons on the City Day on the main stage of Izhevsk. Children''s playground construction in the city''s yards by the petroleum company was rewarded. 10 children''s playgrounds were built with funds allocated by TNK-BP last year alone. The television company cites a city resident who highly appreciated the petroleum company''s contribution to Izhevsk landscaping and children''s rest. The television company also cites Izhevsk Mayor Balakin who expressed gratitude and appreciation on behalf of the residents, when awarding the prize to TNK-BP''s employees on the City Day, June 12, and noted that, with Udmurtneft OJSC joining TNK-BP, the company proceeds with its socially-targeted policy. Udmurtneft OJSC, a subsidiary of TNK-BP, got the third prize in the Benefactor of the Year: 2003 for young families'' sponsorship.
