TNK-BP Allocates RUR 15.5 Million for Discounts to Ryazan-Based Agricultural Producers
A working meeting of TNK-BP''s Executive Director German Khan and Ryazan Governor Georgy Shpak was held in Ryazan last week. The meeting discussed interaction between the Ryazan Regional Government and TNK-BP. Having taken a view of the Ryazan refinery, Mr. German Khan and Mr. Georgy Shpak met with Ryazan reporters and visited parachute regiment No. 137 sponsored by the refinery. The Governor noted large-scale work aimed at the refinery''s reconstruction held by the Company. Thanks to the enterprise''s efficient performance, the regional budget got additional RUR 20 million in taxes this year. An arrangement for discounts on diesel fuel for Ryazan agricultural producers during the harvesting period was one of the results of the meeting of the Governor and the Executive Director. In addition, Georgy Shpak highly appreciated TNK-BP''s charitable activities in the Ryazan Region.
