Ukraine''s Lisichansk Refinery Increases Gasoline Production by 13.3%, to 837,300 tons, in 1H
LiNOS LLC (former LiNOS OJSC, Lisichansk Refinery, Ukraine) pushes up gasoline production by 13.3%, to 837,300 tons, in 1H 2004 y-o-y, the enterprise informed on July 9. Diesel fuel production rose by 13.8%, to 737,100 tons, fuel oil production by 10.2%, to 895,500 tons. Oil refining soared by 13.8%, to 2.945 million tons. Crude oil supplies to the enterprise dropped by 12.1%, down to 2.901 million tons, including reduction in Russian crude oil supplies by 17.5%, down to 2.702 million tons. Kazakhstan supplied 198,700 tons of oil, whereas it amounted to as little as 10,000 tons over 6 months of 2003. In January/June 2003, the refinery also received Ukrainian oil. The Lisichansk pushed up gasoline output by 6% in 2003 versus 2002, up to 1.815 million tons; diesel fuel output rose by 4%, to 1.614 million tons, fuel oil output increased by 4%, to 1.899 million tons. Crude oil refining was up by 6.4%, to 6.203 million tons, in 2003. Crude oil supplies to the enterprise jumped by 21% in 2003 versus 2002, to 7.144 million tons. In 2004, the refinery plans to refine 6.5 million tons of oil.
