Lazarev: Social Dialogue Continues
A series of meetings of TNK-BP''s top management with trade union heads of most enterprises have taken place in the Company since early 2004. The issues under discussion are social policy aimed at personnel development salary payment system improvement, and social partnership. Drafting and implementation of an efficient social policy at an enterprise are impossible without a correctly calculated salary payment system. TNK-BP is working on the perfect performance review system to be based on the chain "target/result/review/remuneration". This will be a non-cumbersome, single system that envisages basic salary, bonuses for specific performance results, additional benefits and social warrantees. The contracted-out pension system and the voluntary medical insurance system for employees of all of TNK-BP''s (extracting and servicing) enterprises should be further developed. Getting back to the issue of fruitful cooperation of the administration with trade unions, relations between TNK-BP with the trade union of Varieganneftegaz may be described as "social dialogue".
