Professionals from British Petroleum and TNK-BP visited several facilities in the Samotlor and Khokhriak fields today. The visit is aimed at familiarization with labor conditions. As guests noted, many changes have occurred since the Russo-British holding was established; all of them gear towards production optimization, improving labor conditions and safety. As TNK-BP''s representatives who accompanied guests today say, more changes are coming. In particular, an agreement with the Khanty Mansiisk Area Administration has been signed, whereby the company undertakes to increase the volume of recoverable gas to 98% within five years. New safety booklets drafted with the participation of specialists from British Petroleum will be available in production facilities soon.
