TNK-BP to Extract 1.4 mln Bbd in 2004

Russo-British TNK-BP plans to product $1.6 mln bbd in 2004 (including a stake in Slavneft that extracts some 0.2 mln bbd), said the company’s President Robert Dudley at the presentation for investors on Monday. Thus, TNK-BP keeps up to earlier announced oil extraction plans – a 12% growth as compared with 2003. According to Robert Dudley, the company extracted 1.58 mln bbd (also taking into account Slavneft) in 1H04. In 2004, the company plans to export 55% of extracted oil in non-CIS foreign countries, and 6% of raw materials will be delivered to CIS countries. TNK-BP plans to sell 9% of produced oil in the domestic market.
