BP Ultimate Now Offered to Russian Consumers
TNK-BP today announced the launch of BP Ultimate unleaded 95 and 98 at all of the company’s BP service stations in Moscow and the Moscow region starting September 18.
BP Ultimate was first offered to U.K. motorists in 2003 after an extensive 18 month research programme to test and develop its unique properties.
BP Ultimate delivers improved engine power and acceleration. Engines using BP Ultimate 98 can experience up to 14.7% power increase and up to 9.9% improvement in acceleration versus ordinary A95 fuels.
BP Ultimate has two and a half times more cleaning power than ordinary fuels. It not only prevents formation of engine deposits but also removes existing deposits over time.
BP Ultimate significantly reduces key environmental pollutants. It contains less sulphur than ordinary fuel, resulting in reductions of sulphur emissions by up to 66%.
BP Ultimate is now sold in 14 countries worldwide. Its launch in Russia supports TNK-BP’s commitment to reinforce its retail presence in the country by leading the development of premium quality fuels. - Hydrocarbons – average reduction of 15%
- Carbon Monoxide – average reduction of 8%
- Nitrogen Oxides – average reduction of 3%
- Sulphur– reduction of up to 66%
