TNK-BP today announced the results of tenders launched in August this year for drilling and sidetracking rigs and, separately, for workover rigs.

According to the agreement, TNK-BP will buy a range of tubulars from TMK for approximately two billion dollars over the five years to 2012. The previous three-year contract with a planned supply volume of 500 million dollars expires at the end of 2007.

TNK-BP, the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the MGIMO International Institute of Energy Policy and Diplomacy (MIEP) announced today that they had signed an Agreement on Cooperation. TNK-BP Chief Operating Officer Tim Summers, MGIMO Provost Anatoly Torkunov, and MGIMO MIEP Director Valery Salygin signed the document.

TNK-BP Holding (TBH) held its Annual General Meeting of shareholders today and approved the company’s annual report for 2006. In addition, the company also presented its first set of consolidated financial statements prepared under US GAAP accounting standards. The meeting also elected a new Board of Directors for TBH and approved the proposed dividend payment.

TNK-BP today released the results of the independent audit of its reserves as at the end of 2006. This represents the fourth annual audit of the company’s reserves since its creation in August 2003.
